So I have been told that my brain doesn’t work like the average person’s brain. So I would love to know if there is anyone else in the world who’s thought process works like this. So I have been told most people have a filing system for a brain where each thought and experience is held in its own file in a massive form of filing cabinets (metaphorically speaking of course). Then you would access the particular area of knowledge based upon your needs. Now to me this sounds like a great way for processing thought and finding all the information that one might need. But my process is very different. To continue with a metaphor, my brain is like a fast moving river where the water would be all of my thoughts, knowledge, experiences, and even my artistic inspirations. I then would place a net in the water and catch whatever I might be looking for, but I usually get about 7 other things along with the one that I wanted. And no they aren’t related to each other I also have moments of random deep thought throughout the day. Such as solutions to the world’s energy problems and solutions for world hunger etc.. The problem with that is A. if I pursue these then I usually end up losing whatever thought I was originally going for and B. what do I do with the information once I have come up with it. (I know the cynically minded of you out there are like yeah right he doesn’t have thoughts on how to solve the worlds mysteries and problems, but as an example I have thought through and even drawn schematics for a fully functioning and green tidal force electric generator that when used in larger quantities would solve the need for our current use of non green energy sources ) I may be just a stay at home dad and artist, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have moments of genius that could be useful for the rest of the world. So let me know if anyone out there thinks this way or knows someone that does.
i think i heard about this not too long ago, still interesting though,
